McCaskill and Associates, Inc. is a full service Land Surveying and Civil Design firm licensed in the states of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Founded in 1990, we have completed over 6000 surveys and 400 site design projects. Our clients include attorneys, contractors, architects, developers, realtors, lending institutions, geologists, and individual home and business owners.

Land surveying is one of the first steps in any design or construction project, land or building purchase. Property surveying is an art as well as a science. The job of the surveyor is to retrace the steps and determine the intent of the original surveyor based on available evidence and records.

Civil design takes information provided by the surveyor and architect to determine the site geometry, grading, storm water management, utility location and capacity, and erosion control to maintain water quality standards during and after construction of the project. Other functions of civil engineering are road design, commercial and residential subdivision design, and consultation with municipal planners and engineers to obtain plan approval.
